Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

The Parkinson’s Disease Project (“we”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through parkdp.org and how we use it.

Information you give us

When you fill out a form on this site (for example, to contact us, volunteer, request support, or apply as a student), we collect the information you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message. We use it only to respond to you and to run our programs. We do not sell or rent your information.

Please don’t include detailed medical information in our forms. If we need more details to help you, we’ll follow up directly.

Donations

Online donations are processed by PayPal Giving Fund. We never see or store your card or bank details. PayPal’s own privacy policy applies to information you give them.

Technical information

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Google Cloud) keeps standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and reliability.

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, and we do not use it to identify you personally. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on.

Maps on our Chapters and Events pages are provided by Google Maps, which is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your information or use advertising trackers.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you’ve submitted by emailing usha@parkdp.org.
